Josh Poole signs a two-way deal with the Berkshire Bees and Cardiff Canucks.

After a very impressive pre-season with the Berkshire Bees, 16-year-old Josh Poole has earned himself a two-way deal in the NIHL.

Josh is one of many players who are benefitting from the development pathway that the Bees have got this season with the Canucks.

Here is what coach Ashley Tait had to say about the signing:

"I think getting Josh is great for the club. We know there’s a shortfall with younger players and we got a glimpse of what he can do on his first shift. To get access to him is a positive step for us and as Sunday’s game went on, I think he was good value for his increased ice time."

Last season at just 15 years old, Josh scored 30 points for the Cardiff Devils U18s in just 15 games.

He is someone to watch out for in his breakout NIHL season.
