Tie Break for Playoff Groupings
It will be the same as the league play
The placing of teams in each Group shall be determined using the following criteria (Rule 11.7 as per 6.0-NIHL-Regulations-2024-25.pdf on EIH website) in the order below:
• Points
• Points in the games between the tied teams
• Overall goal difference in the playoff group
• Overall goals scored in the playoff group
• Number of regulations wins
• Overall goal difference in matches between the tied teams
• Fewer penalty points
• Fewer penalty minutes
